Nesting box material

• Loose bedding

  • Medium- to coarse-grained sand

  • Chopped straw

• Aspen nesting box liners

• Raffia bedding pad

Fake eggs for the nesting box (optional)

It doesn’t matter what egg color you buy—your chicks will respond to any color. The material also doesn’t matter. You can choose any of the above that catch your fancy.
